PHOTOGRAPHS + FILMS
My career in the arts began at age 7 working alongside my father and brother in their darkroom. Imagery has been my number one passion pretty much my entire life, and that joy of photography and video continues today. I have photographed Presidents and many celebrities, had billboards of my work in Times Square, the covers of some of the biggest magazines, and have photographed entire books from cover to cover. It's been an illustrious career to say the least, and it goes without saying that I am very good at what I do. There is no doubt that I seek to be the best for everyone who hires me, and with all that I've done, I can guarantee you will find a humble friend in me. I am someone who you can count on for expert advice, quality, creativity, and enough experience to guide you in the right direction with any question you may have. I photograph portraits, weddings, events, and film people, places, and things. If it's done with a camera, I am perfectly at home, and will exceed your expectations no matter what the assignment entails.

Photography has taken me all of the world, and I am somewhat of a historian with a camera. I've photographed numerous celebrity weddings and parties, created portraits in their homes with their families and friends, and have shot commercially on fashion projects, book covers, and so much more. I am turned to when the moment counts most.
TRAVEL and leisure
I love an adventure, and seek assignments which allow me to travel because at the end of the day experiences makes me a better artist. From public relations for 5 star luxury resorts and brands to commercial assignments I photograph, film, and time lapse locations with exquisite taste and style.
food and wine - entertaining
I love celebrating with great food and my wife and I love to entertain. Together we have co-produced several books from cover to cover, along with numerous editorial spreads working closely alongside celebrity chefs and experts for much of my career. Much of the work is done on location around the world, however I also have an incredible lifestyle studio in Connecticut which is picture perfect for all types of creative storytelling ideas.
WEDDINGS AND EVENTS
From the most lavish over the top gala events published to the smallest and most intimate weddings in the world, I love them all. It's not the size of the event, rather I seek to work with couples who love the blend of real moments and fine art printing. My work has won the most prestigious awards in the wedding industry, and I am driven to deliver the best to every one of my clients.
CHARLEE - abstract expressionist oil paintings and wearable art
FINE ART + FASHIONS
Made to order quickly just for you, which means we are a zero waste independent fashion studio.
I am deeply passionate about oil painting, and have a modern abstract expressionist style. Through texture, and the creation of strong characters, I take viewers on a storytelling journey. Yet I keep it mysterious allowing them to decide what order the story unfolds. I seek to take you far away from your everyday struggle by creating works that are visually compelling from your first glance through your entire lifetime of study.
Beyond the paintings, I use my photographic, design, and printmaking skills to design one of a kind wearable fashions. I create centerpiece garments that the rest of your outfit revolves around. This makes your purchase versatile allowing you to dress up the piece, or dress it down depending on your mood, or time of day. CHARLEE wearable art is made to last, incredibly comfortable, and never wrinkles, shrinks, or fades making my line ideal for travel and everyday wear.
A simple dress that is the centerpiece of your outfit because it's made from art...
my dresses never wrinkle, shrink, or fade...
Dress it up with heels or boots, dress it down for the beach.

ACOUSTIC SONGWRITING AND LIVE JAMS WITH MY BAND
IN A MULTITUDE OF GENRES JUST FOR THE LOVE OF MUSIC.
I love music, and it's been a part of my life. I remember listening to my dad play his guitar and sing when I was little. It was always a country song, and I would spin around in circles in our living room until I got too dizzy to stand. Then, I would lay on the floor and daydream listening to the sounds of the acoustic guitar. He taught me a couple of chords, and since then I've learned a few things on my own. Those are some fond memories! Today I write a lot of songs on the acoustic. Some come out folk or pop, and others pure country. I also play in a rock band with some long time friends, and they put a completely different spin on my writing. All in all, this is just for the fun of it, but what's the point of creating if you don't share with the world. So... here we go...
old friends - Live Recorded ROCK JAM
I play in a rock band with long time friends of mine, and this song sends that home. It's a song I wrote, which evolved into something completely different once the band got a hold of it. It's also in remembrance of our good friend Tommy who we all lost to cancer. There is a long sweet psychedelic jam at the end. Hope you like it.
Deja vu - folk
Have you ever experienced Deja Vu really strong? I get that pretty often, and have a bizarre story to share with you one day in person. This is a very simple little song about Deja Vu that I wrote. I probably should have added a bridge or something to make it more interesting, but then again sometimes keeping it simple is better. This is the acoustic version, but the band took in a totally different direction. Look forward to playing this live with the band for you.
HEAVEN SENT - rock'n roll
This song came together completely impromtu one night while jamming with my band. I love it when that happens. This is a live recording from our practice space, then I overdubbed the vocals later in the art studio. This overlap of my love of music and filmmaking makes for a lot of fun as it allows me to blend so much creativity together.
Stand up america - Country song
Mark Twain once said "If you don't read the newspaper, you are uninformed. If you do read the newspaper, you are misinformed.” I refuse to get political, because I see wrongs on all sides of me, and I know each person thinks the way they do because of their own personal life experiences. I try to respect people and see their point of view. But, I will say that some of the things people do these days in protest, on both sides, makes me sad, even though I can respect their right to do so. I guess this country song pretty much says it all.
A BIZARRE BLEND OF PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO, AND CREATIVE THINKING
VISIT MY ART STUDIO AND GALLERY IN CONNECTICUT OR MEET ME AT THE ART CLUB IN MANHATTAN FOR SERIOUS INQUIRIES ABOUT DIGITAL ART AND FINE ART OIL PAINTINGS
These days the camera can create so much more than meets the eye, and my digital works of art combine state of the art imaging and creative thinking together to take you someplace, and the only way to get there is through me. From film animations to still image mind warps, I create some pretty interesting works that encapsalates a place, and most often a feeling.
As a city filled with texture, Florence has a special place in my heart. I've created numerous works from this famed city, but this is one of my favorites. Study it and you will find yourself on top of the Belvedere Hotel overlooking the Duomo, inside a cathedral, and in the city streets where the gargoyles beckon you to look deep from within.
It was 1902, and at 20 floors it rose to the heavens as one of the tallest buildings in all of Manhattan. We can pretty much bet on the fact that at the time, Daniel Burnham could never have pictured it quite this way, although his Renaissance palazzo in Beaux-Arts styling would become an iconic symbol of New York City anyway. I’ve past the Flatiron over and over just about every hour of the morning and night, and even I never saw this coming. A work of art created with a digital camera, along with a deep unending thought process of fine art manipulation. Much like a painting, I never know when to stop before I ruin a perfectly good idea. However, this is where I ended my deep etherial blurs, burns, and styling to remix a building with an imagination that stands the test of time.
I found a sandy cay while sailing through the Caribbean Islands and dropped anchor off shore to spend the night. We took the Dinghy ashore before sunset and hiked through the forrest coming upon a cliff as waves crashed onto the shores. We were all alone without a soul in sight. Imagine the things you might find....
High above the trains on a terrace I sit overlooking the ever changing colors in the construction pit. Jackhammers by day, the sound of train conductors by night talking over a loudspeaker as the engines pulled and stopped with all their might. There was something special to watch through my lens each day as the city rose towards heaven in a very creative way. Can’t sleep for the sounds and sun when it rises, so I start a time lapse to capture the horizon. The view from my terrace slowly disappears, each new floor of the building prolonging my fears. As an artist I don’t want to leave the city of lights, even the one that leaves me sleepless at night. But, it is time to flee from this neighborhood as the rents going up, which is never really good. Glad I have the memories, and the photographs, and films I created, so I can share with you a bit of history belated.
